ELEMENTS AND SKIN, 2017
The elements (metal) and skin (paint) both embody the “moment of crisis in consciousness,” and together, resolve it. While there may be a contrast in their physical properties, the metal and paint skin construct a new paradigm to exist within, fracturing tired perspectives and encouraging intuitive responses. Their abstract relationship is meant to bring pause to the present for the viewer experiencing it.
